In the
work area,
you can easily position your
objects using a grid.
From the
View section of the
action bar,
click
Display/Hide Grid.
The grid is displayed.
Drag and drop your
element
anywhere in the
2D graph.
The element doesn't snap to the grid.
From the
View section of the
action bar,
click
Grid Snapping.
Tip:
To temporarily activate or deactivate this mode, press
Alt from your keyboard.
Drag and drop your element anywhere in the
work area.
The element automatically snaps to the grid, from its lower
left corner or from a predefined snap point.
Important:
If you create an object with the grid snapping
mode, its lower left corner is snapped to the grid.
Tip:
You can customize
horizontal/vertical spacing and graduation, as the snapping option, from
Me > Preferences > App Preferences > 3D Modeling
> Systems Architecture > Functional & Logical Design
