Finding ECRs Related to an ECO

Though ECR objects have been deprecated, users who have ECR objects from a previous release can access a list of legacy ECRs related to the ECO.

Required Access Roles:

  • Baseline: Leader, Author
  • App-specific: Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or Senior Manufacturing Engineer.

Before you begin:

Access an ECO Properties page. See Properties of Change Actions with Applicability.

  1. Click the Related ECRs category.

    ColumnDescription
    NameName of the ECR. This column contains highlighted links. Click on any name in this column to view the Properties page for that object.
    Rev ECR revision number or code
    Type ECR type or subtype
    DescriptionDetails about the ECR
    StateCurrent state of the ECR in its lifecycle

  2. Click either of the following from the page toolbar:

    Add Existing To add legacy ECRs to the list. See Predefined Queries.
    Remove Selected To remove selected ECRs from the list. This removes the relationship between the ECR and the ECO, but does not delete the ECR from the database.
