Creating a Part from a Part Family

You can create a part using a part from a part family. Once created, the part is assigned to the part family.

Before you begin: An existing part family to which you have access.

  1. Open the part family.
  2. Select the Parts category.
  3. In the Actions menu, select Create New Part.

The new part is assigned to the part family.
