View Section

The View section provides commands for viewing the image.

This page discusses:

3D Grid

Wrap the objects in the Viewer with a grid to get a better sense of distances.

Reframe

Focus the view on the entire model to fit centered in the viewer and simultaneously maximize the use of the viewer space.

Perspective

See Flyout for Perspective.

Pan

Moves the model's view along the x, y, and z axes.

Click Pan, then drag in any direction.

Rotate

Turns the model around the vertical axis or around the horizontal axis.

Click Rotate, then drag horizontally or vertically.

Zoom

Zooms in or out.

Drag up to zoom in, and drag down to zoom out.

Isometric View

Shading

See Flyout for Shading.

Hide/Show Reference Axis

See Flyout for Reference Axis.

Swap visible space

Switches from Show space to No Show space, and vice versa.

Visible objects are located in Show space, and hidden objects are located in No Show space.

Show/hide status is lost when the widget or the browser is refreshed.

Access these objects to change their visibility (using Hide / Show in the Review section of the action bar).

Remove All Objects

Removes all objects and issues from the viewer.

Flyout for Perspective

Perspective
Displays objects in a perspective view.
Parallel
Displays objects in a parallel view.

Isometric View
Applies standard isometric view.
Bottom View
Applies standard bottom view.
Top View
Applies standard top view.
Right View
Applies standard right view.

Applies standard back view.
Front View
Applies standard front view.

Flyout for Shading

Shading with edges
Shades with edges, whether smooth or not.
Shading
Shades the surfaces of the geometry. Displays edges (including hidden and smooth ones), or the materials that have been applied.
Shading with edges without smooth edges
Shades with edges, except the smooth ones.
Shading with edges and hidden edges
Shades with all edges, hidden or not.
Shading with material and edges
Displays the material applied onto your object with edges.
Shading with material
Displays the material applied onto your object.
Wireframe
Displays object's edges and lines only.

Hide/Show Reference Axis
Lets you hide or show the reference axis lines.
Hide/Show Lines
Lets you hide or show the lines.
Hide/Show Points
Lets you hide or show the points.
