Create a Manufacturing Simulation

In this first step, you will create a Manufacturing Simulation object for the engine assembly.

Before you begin: The engine assembly is loaded in the Assembly Evaluation app.

Click Play to watch the video:

  1. Select Add > Content.
  2. In the New Content dialog box, select Simulation > Manufacturing Simulation.
    The Manufacturing Simulation object is created and is automatically activated in the 3D Simulation environment.
  3. Press F3.
    The tree is displayed showing the engine assembly and the Manufacturing Simulation object.
  4. In the tree, right-click the Manufacturing Simulation and select Properties.
  5. In the Reference tab of the Properties dialog box, enter an appropriate name and description.
