Multiple Root Bookmark Tab

The Multiple Root bookmark tab allows you to preview and access multiple root bookmarks simultaneously.

It organizes root bookmarks by attaching them to a nonpersistent, organizational node called the Multi-Root Node (MRN).

Table 1. Commands Available in the Multiple Root Bookmark TabThe Multiple Root bookmark Tab displays the 3D representation of all the root bookmarks collectively organized under the MRN. You cannot attach new or existing root bookmarks to the MRN.

The following commands are available for all the root bookmarks organized under the MRN in the right-click menu:

Command Description

Other Selection...

This starts the Other Selection pane where you can navigate other engineering bookmark structures and select bookmarks

Expand All

This expands all the root bookmarks contained under the MRN

Refresh

This refreshes the contents of the root bookmarks contained under the MRN so that updates from the database are reflected.

Using Refresh you cannot:

  • Collapse the structure of bookmarks that are expanded
  • Refresh the contents of bookmarks open in a different tab in the work area.

Reset

This clears the contents of the MRN

Select Under

This selects all the sub bookmarks contained in a selected root bookmark contained under the MRN. See Selecting Multiple Objects in the Bookmark Structure for more information.

Retrieve Root bookmarks

This menu allows you to retrieve items from the following locations:

  • My Project: Retrieves projects of current user in all collaborative spaces
  • My Bookmarks: Retrieves bookmark accessible to the current user in all collaborative spaces
