Creating a Bookmark

You can create a Bookmark in which data such as documents, parts and processes that are necessary for design tasks, can be stored.

Create a Bookmark in the Native Application

You can create a Bookmark in 3DEXPERIENCE in the native application.

  1. Click Add > Content from the top bar.
    The New content dialog box appears.
  2. Under Types, select Bookmark > Bookmark .
  3. Right-click Bookmark and select Set attributes at creation.
  4. Click Bookmark .
    The Bookmark dialog box appears.
  5. You must provide the following information:

    • Type the name of the Bookmark in the Name box.
    • Enter the description of the Bookmark in the Description box.

  6. Click OK.

A new Bookmark is created with the given name. It is explored as the root of the folder structure. You can see its structure as well as its 3D representation in the work area.

Create a Bookmark in Web Applications

You can create a Bookmark in 3DEXPERIENCE in many web applications. See Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide:Team Central:Bookmarks:Creating a Bookmark

  1. Click Add > Team > Create Bookmark
    The Create Bookmark page appears.
  2. To define the attributes of a Bookmark, provide the following details:

    • Type the name of the Bookmark in the Name box.
    • To assign a template to the Bookmark, click and select a template from the search results. This is an optional attribute.
    • Enter the description of the Bookmark in the Description box.

  3. Click Done.
    A Team Bookmark is created.
