Managing Text in 2D Representation

You can customize the title area and insert text in the body of a 2D representation.

Show/Hide a Title Area

You can hide the title of a function or logical representation.

By default, this title appears.

  1. Right-click the function or logical component and select Properties from the context menu or from the context toolbar.
  2. In the Properties dialog box, select the 2D Graphic tab.
  3. Select Customized values.
    Customization options are now editable.

    • In the Body Area section, you can customize the background Fill color and Transparency, the Line color, linetype and thickness and the Picture margin.
    • In the Title Area section, you can customize the display, the Position, the background Fill color and Transparency, the Text color of a title.

  4. From the Title Area section, clear the Display title area option.
  5. Click OK to validate your customization and close the Properties dialog box.
    The title is hidden.

Display the Tooltip Content in 2D Representation

Provided that the 2D representation contains no picture, you can insert the content of its tooltip in the body of a function, logical component, and in representations displayed in the requirement 2D graph.

  1. From the top bar, select Me > Preferences > App Preferences > 3D Modeling > Systems Architecture > Functional & Logical Design > Tooltip. For more information, see Native Apps Preferences Guide: Tooltip.
  2. In the Tooltip Content in 2D Representation section, check that the convenient option is selected:
    • Display in function/logical component (if no picture)
    • Display in requirement 2D graph

    Note: By default, these options are not selected.

  3. Customize the tooltip content.
  4. Click OK to close the dialog box and apply your settings.
