Editing a Flow in a Flow Association

You can edit the flow (data or control) associated to a functional port (also called flow associations). .

  1. From the Edition section of the action bar, click Edit Port Flow .
  2. In the 2D representation of the Functional tree, select the port of a function.
    The Flow Association dialog box appears to let you modify the associated flow.
  3. In the Flow Association dialog box, select one of the following options:
  4. In the Flow Instance tab, type a Flow Instance Identifier.

    Tip: This identifier can be automatically generated. For more information, see Me > Preferences > App Preferences > 3D Modeling > Systems Architecture > Functional & Logical Design > General > Flow and Type Indentifiers. For more information, see Native Apps Preferences Guide: General.

  5. Click Finish.
    The Flow Association dialog box disappears and the port flow is updated.

    If the functional port is connected, a propagation of the modification is proposed. See Propagating a Flow or a Type to Connected Interfaces.
