You can export functional and logical content from the database to a Simulink file.

From the tree, select a reference or an instance.
- In > Systems Architecture, click To MDL.
The Export MDL dialog box appears.

In
the Export MDL dialog box, type:
- The Path of the MDL file you want to create
- The File Name
Note:
By default, the name of the newly created file corresponds to the name of the reference it contains.
- Optional:
Select Export each last element of the structure in an individual file option, to export each last element of the structure in one single file (one file per element), in addition to the consolidated main file containing the selected reference or instance.
Note:
The name of an additional file corresponds to the name of the element it contains.All additional files are created at the same location as the main reference or instance file.
- Click OK to launch the export.
The Export MDL dialog box closes and a .mdl or .slx file is created at the indicated location with all additional files.
