You can import functional and logical content from a Simulink model.

In , click or From SLX.
The Import MDL or Import SLX dialog box appears.

In
the Import MDL or Import SLX dialog box, browse to select the MDL or SLX file you want to import.
- In the Data type section, select Functional or Logical, according to the type of content you want to create.
- In the Reference Revision Management section, select one of the following options:
- Update current revision: only updates content saved or opened in
session.
Note:
By default, this option is selected.
- Create new revision: replaces the latest revision of content, saved or opened in
session, by a new revision.
Note:
If there is no existing content, a first revision is created.
- Add new content: duplicates content saved or opened in
session.
Note:
If there is no existing content, new content is created.
- Optional: If you select Add new content, type the Duplication String.
The Duplication String is appended to every imported
references.
- To create all content in session and save it, select Save all objects after Import option.

Click:
- Full Update: to launch the import of content.
- Partial Update: to select the specific content you want to import.
The Import Comparison Report dialog box appears to let you select the modifications to be updated.
Note:
When you select the Add new content option, the Partial Update command is not available.
The Simulink
model is imported in session and saved if the Save all objects after import option is selected.
