Setting up a Simulation

You can define the preferences of a simulation.

Notes:
  • For handling of simulation results, for example, 3D animation, you can set general options in Me > Preferences > App Preferences > 3D Modeling > Systems Modeling and Execution > Dymola Behavior Modeling , the Results tab. For more information, see Native Apps Preferences Guide: Results.
  • The model might be suitable for sparse solvers. If so, a message appears when you simulate the model. The message appears in the Messages Reporting window, the Simulation tab, the Translation part of the message tree. For more information, see Dymosim Integrators, section "Advanced Algorithms".
Note: The message line is Sparse solver handling possible: false. Click the line to see the full message.
