You can create a unified bead fastener reference without defining any localization
product. Unified bead fasteners behave almost exactly like standard bead fasteners. The
difference between unified beads and standard beads is that the 3D geometry of the
fastener that is usually in the bead localization part is placed in the bead reference
representation.

Expand the
Fasteners node.

Right-click the
Unified Bead Fastener type and select
Set attributes at creation.
The
Unified Bead Fastener dialog box is displayed.

Select the
Fastener Specific Attributes tab.

Modify the values of the fastener reference, the classification
and shape parameters (the only available Shape Definition is
3D curve).

Click
OK to create the unified bead fastener
reference.
During the creation of a unified bead fastener no localization
product is created and the information related to 3D Visualization is stored in
the unified bead fastener itself.
