Modifying the Annotation Set Standard and Display ISO Specifications
You can modify the standard used to define the representation of 3D tolerance
annotations of an annotation set feature. You can also display the ISO specification
(ISO 14405 and ISO 1101) as a text in the work area.
Before you begin: Open a 3D shape containing an annotation set.
Right-click the Annotation Set.x and select
Properties.
The Properties dialog box appears.
Select the standard to be modified.
In the Presentation Standard list, select a standard.
The 3D annotations are updated with respect to the new selected standard.
Important:
To update the current standard, select the same name in the
drop-down list.
Annotations created before V6 R2011x do not inherit new
behaviors in ASME Y14.5-2009 or
ISO 1101 2004 standards.
When you switch the standard to ISO, the specifications
supported by ISO 14405 and ISO 1101 are displayed.
Right-click the annotation set node and select Annotation Set.X Object > Add ISO default specification text to display the ISO specification text with the annotations.
Note:
This command is available only when ISO standard is selected.
The ISO specifications are displayed in the current view as a text
annotation.
The ISO default specification.X node is added
under the Notes node of the annotation set.
