Reordering Features in the Tree

You can reorder features in the tree.

Important: This function is only applicable for:
  • View/Annotation planes.
  • Datums.
  • Datum Targets.
  • Tolerancing Captures

Before you begin: Open an existing 3D shape containing 3D Tolerancing & Annotation features.

  1. Right-click a datum in the tree and select datum_name object > Reorder .
    The Arrow Insert After cursor appears on features where you can reorder your selection.
    Tip:
    • Press Ctrl to display the Arrow Insert Before cursor: .
    • The following cursor is displayed when it is not possible to reorder your selection.
    • Multi-selection of same features is possible, for this select Selected objects > Reorder from the context menu.
  2. Select the datum after which you want reorder the selected datum.
    The datum is reordered in the tree.
