Expression Rule Properties

The Properties page for an expression rule shows details about the rule.

To access this page:

  1. Open the Expression Rules page. See Expression Rules Page.
  2. Click the name of an expression rule.
  3. In the navigation pane, select the expression rule name.

Fields

Field Name Description
Name The automatically generated name of the expression rule. This is is sequentially numbered and unique, so it cannot be edited.
Title The title of the expression rule. Initially this is the same value as the automatically-generated name, but it can be edited.
Description The detailed description of the expression rule.
Owner The person who is responsible for the expression rule.
State The current lifecycle state of the expression rule.
Expression Type The type of expression that defines the rule: Boolean
Type The rule's type: Configuration Rule
Collaborative Space The collaborative space to which the expression rule belongs.
Organization The organization which is responsible for the expression rule.

Edit Details Edits the expression rule properties.

You cannot edit an expression rule that is in the Release or Obsolete state.
