Replacing a Logical Feature

Product Managers and System Engineers can replace a logical feature for a logical feature or model version.

Before you begin: View the Logical Structures page for a model version. See Logical View Tab on the Logical Structures Page.

  1. Click the Logical View page tab.
  2. Select the feature you want to replace.
  3. From the page Actions menu or toolbar, click Replace.
  4. Click to search for and select the replacement feature or model version.
  5. Click Submit.
    The system closes the search page and adds the selected item to the dialog box.
  6. Click Done.

All relevant information, such as the BOM XML, is updated with the selected feature or model version.
