Creating Pit Optimizations

Defining a Pit Optimization study involves three category components: a model, a scenario, and a result. These components can be described as follows:

  • Model: The context in which the pit optimization is run. It stores the site, the block model, and the terrain objects.
  • Scenario: The data objects and the specifications related to the operational and economical assumptions that are required for estimating the reserve of the block model .
  • Result: Contains the postprocessing data, pit analytics reports, including a summary and detailed reports of the scenarios.
