From the Boreholes section of the action bar, click
Borehole Display Styles.
In the Display Boreholes dialog box, the name of the
dataset is displayed in the Dataset field.

In the Default color picker field, set the default colour of
the trace, labels, and collar.
By default, the colour is black. The colour of the borehole trace depends on the
attribute value and the colours mapped using global legends. If you click Apply
after selecting the Color, the colour of the trace,
collar, and borehole name changes in the graphical canvas.

From the Orientation list, set the orientation of the borehole
on its plane.
Note:
The options in the Orientation list are: Camera
View, Front View, Rear
View, and Left View.

On the Trace tab, select the attribute which defines the
borehole interval from the Attribute list.
Note:
If you select the empty option at the top of the list, all the
parameters are reset.

From the Methodology list, select the methodology for the
attribute, which defines the borehole interval.
Note:
If you select the empty option at the top of the list, all the
parameters are reset. By default, a methodology option is selected when you select an
attribute.
If you click Apply after selecting an attribute and
methodology, the existing colour palette is displayed in another dialog box.

From the Trace Style list, select the trace style of the
borehole.
Note:
The options are: Lines or Fixed
Width Cylinders.

From the Trace Width box, enter or select the width of the
borehole interval.
Note:
When the trace style is a line, the width of the line depends on the
value of trace width. The trace width has no unit. When the trace style is a cylinder,
the diameter of the cylinder is constant.

On the Collar tab, from the Collar Marker
Style list, select the style of the collar.
Note:
The options are: Marker and
Dome. The default collar marker style is
Marker.

From Label Orientation, select Horizontal
or Vertical to change the orientation of the label
displaying the borehole name to horizontal or vertical, respectively.

Enter or select the Label Font size which sets the size of the
label.
Note:
The range of values for the Label Font size
that are supported are between 8 and 30.

On the Labels tab, you can select and display the labels of
attributes and methodologies on the left and right side of the boreholes on the
Left and Right tab, respectively.
- From the Attribute list, select the value of the
attribute that you want to display.
- From the Methodology list, select the value of the
methodology that you want to display.
- Enter or set a value in the Label Font size box for the
size of the label font.
- Enter or set a value in the Precision box to set the
number of decimal places that is displayed.
- Select ticks to display the limits of the label
value.
- Select Use default color to use the default colour
already selected from the Default color list.

Optional: Click Apply.
The settings are applied and the boreholes are displayed. The
Display Boreholes dialog remains displayed. If there is a
colour palette for the attribute and methodology of the borehole interval, it is
displayed in a separate dialog box.

Click OK to apply settings and display the boreholes.
The settings are applied and the boreholes are displayed. The
Display Boreholes dialog is closed.
