Selecting Parts for the Analysis Optimization

You can select the parts of your model that contribute to the optimization process.

Before you begin: Open the Analysis Optimization assistant.

  1. From the Model section, select Model configuration.

    When you first launch the command, an automatic selection is performed. All parts are taken into account in the simulation as a contextual part and the last body is selected as default.

  2. Optional: Add abstractions to the simulation.

    For more information, see Abstractions.

  3. Optional: From the context toolbar, do one following:
    OptionDescription
    Add contextual body Add the contextual body
    Remove contextual body Remove the contextual body
    Add material Set the material in the current body
    Publication Switch the selection to the publication of the body
