Create a Style
You can create a style that changes the display color of the elements in your dataset depending on the value of one of its attributes.
You can create as many styles as you want on the dataset.
Important: If you create multiple styles on a dataset, you can upload only the default style called Base Style to the server using Upload Style. For mor information, see Managing Per-dataset Styling. |
- From your experience, select the dataset for which you want to create a style.

From the
Representation attributes area, next to Color, select , and select one of the options.
Option Description Color
Creates a style that defines the display color of your dataset. If you select the option, do the following: - Optional: In Name, enter a name.
- In Fallback, select the color.
By Attribute
Creates a style that defines the display color of your dataset based on one of its attribute values. If you select the option, do the following: - Optional: In Name, enter a name.
- In Attribute, select the attribute on which you want to base your style.
- In Method, select the method.
- Define the colors and criteria of your style, depending on the method you select. For more information, see Defining Advanced Properties.
- Close the Color dialog box.
The created style becomes the active style on your dataset.
