Managing Experience Contexts

You can define different contexts in the same experience to compare an existing state with a future project, or to represent several variants of a same project.

Creating Bookmarks
  1. From the standard section of the action bar, click City Experience (by default, the City Experience panel is displayed each time a City widget is started).
  2. Select an individual element (also know as "primitive") in the 3D view.
    A new child item is added to the tree under the parent dataset.

  3. From the standard section of the action bar, click Properties , and then modify some properties.


    Important: If you do not modify the selected object, the object is removed from the tree as soon as it is not selected anymore.
  4. Repeat the previous steps as many times as required to create more contexts.


  5. Optional: Navigate in your urban environment to choose the appropriate view, then from the Create section of the action bar, click Create Bookmark .

    A bookmark represent a point of view but also a context. You can thus create several bookmarks for different versions of your project and then activate the appropriate bookmark to switch between versions.

  6. To hide the tree view, click City Experience .
