Working with the Attribute Table

You can view at a glance all the attributes of a prepared or previewed dataset in a dedicated widget.


Before you begin: Make sure the attributes have been exposed at dataset creation. Otherwise, they are not displayed in City Attribute Table.

  1. In the tree view, select a dataset.
  2. From the standard section of the action bar, click Properties .
  3. Click Open Attribute Table .
    Attributes of the selected dataset are displayed in a tabular form.
    Tip: In the upper right of the widget, click to select the number of features to be displayed for each page, and then click Save.
  4. In City Attribute Table, click the appropriate icon.

    Lets you drag a dataset to City Attribute Table.

    You can drag the dataset from:

    • the tree view
    • 3DSpace
    • 3DSearch.

    Displays objects in table format.
    Displays either all items as rows, or only those corresponding to items of the selected dataset that are visible from the current camera viewpoint.

    If you zoom in or out, the list is automatically refreshed.

    Exports the attribute table to a file in CSV format.

    A tab named "dataset_name.csv" is displayed at the bottom of your window. Click the up arrow next to the tab name, and then select the appropriate option:

    • Open to open the .csv file.
    • Show in folder to display the storage location on your local disk. By default, the image is saved in C:\Users\user_name\Downloads.

    Clears the loaded dataset.

    The widget is still visible and you may continue using it by dragging a dataset to it.

  5. Click column titles to sort medata in ascending or descending alphabetical order.
    As you click, or is displayed next to the column title to indicate the order in which data is sorted.
  6. You can also:

    • Drag column borders to make them better fit the data.
    • Modify the default column order by dragging columns to their new location.

  7. Select an attribute in the list.
    This highlights both its representation in the experience and the corresponding item in the tree.

    Similarly, if you select an item in the tree or in the experience, the corresponding line is highlighted in City Attribute Table.

    Tip: To make cross highlight easier, activate the filter view button to limit the list of items (rows) displayed in the table to only those that are currently visible on screen.
  8. To close the widget, click in the upper right of the widget.
