Configuring the Referential Panel

You can show optional columns to display more information about your datasets.

Optional columns are the following:

• Description
• Published
• Count
• Last Modified on
• Last Modified by

1. Right-click the header of any column.
2. From the list that appears, select the column that you want to show in the Referential panel.
   Note: In the list, the blue rectangle indicates that the column already appears in the Referential.

3. Optional: Repeat steps 1 and 2 to show other columns.

The Referential panel updates and displays the added columns.

You can hide columns to focus on the information that matters most to you.

You can hide any columns in the Referential panel, except the following columns, which always appear in the Referential panel:

• Name
• Type

1. Right-click the header of any column.
2. From the list that appears, select the column that you want to hide.
   Note: In the list, the blue rectangle indicates that the column already appears in the Referential.

3. Optional: Repeat steps 1 and 2 to hide other columns.

The Referential panel hides the selected columns from the table.

You can resize each column to display more or less information about your datasets.

You can resize the columns manually or automatically.

1. Optional: To resize a column manually, from the header of the column that you want to resize, either:
   1. Double-click the right divider of the header to adapt the width of the column to fit its widest cell.
   2. Drag the right divider of the header to one of the directions below.

   Drag Direction	Description
   Leftward	Reduces the size of the column.
   Rightward	Increases the size of the column.

2. Optional: To have the columns fit the content of their widest cell automatically, do the following:
   1. Right-click the header of the column that you want to resize.
   2. Select a resize option.

   Option	Description
   Size Column to Fit	Adapts the width of the selected column to fit its widest cell.
   Size All Columns to Fit	Adapts the width of all the columns to fit their widest cell.

You can pin a column so that the column appears at a specific location in the table.

1. Right-click the header of the column that you want to pin.
2. Select Pin Column, and select a pin option.

   Option	Description
   Pin to the Left	Displays the column at the left of the grid. Note: The first column you pin is always to the far left. All subsequent pinned columns appear to the right of the previously left-pinned columns.
   Pin to the Right	Display the column at the right of the grid. Note: The first column you pin is always to the far right. All subsequent pinned columns appear to the left of the previously right-pinned columns.

The column appears at the pinned location of your choice.

You can unpin a column.

If you unpin a column, the column changes its location to come back to its default location. However, if you have left-pinned columns, and you unpin a column, the unpinned column appears to the right of the left-pinned columns.

1. Right-click the header of the column that you want to unpin.
2. Select Pin Column > No Pin.

The column appears at its default location or to the right of the left-pinned columns.
