Displaying Metadata

You can display metadata for a datasource.

  1. Below the summary, click a tab name to display the associated metadata.
  2. Click to expand areas contained in the tab.
  3. For metadata in tabular format, you can click column titles to sort medata in ascending or descending alphabetical order.
    As you click, or is displayed next to the column title to indicate the order in which data is sorted.
  4. In tabular format, you can also:

    • Drag column borders to make them better fit the data.
    • Modify the default column order by dragging columns to their new location.

  5. Right-click a column title to display the context menu.

    Pin Column Lets you pin the column to the left (Pin Left) or right (Pin Right) side of the widget to make it always visible.

    To unpin a column, select No Pin.

    Size Column to Fit Resizes the column so that its entire content is visible.
    Size All Columns to Fit Resizes all columns so that their entire content is visible.
    Column_Title Displays the titles of the columns available in the table.

    By default, all columns are displayed. Visible columns are identified by a vertical blue line in the context menu.

    • To hide a column in the table click its title in the context menu.
    • To display a hidden column, click its title in the context menu.

    Custom Views Lets you customize the way columns are displayed.
