Resizing Infinite Elements

You can resize the graphical representation of features with infinite geometry.

If the Resize Infinite Elements option in the App Options panel is selected, handles are available on selected features with infinite geometry allowing to resize infinite elements.

Before you begin: Open a Part containing an infinite element, e.g. infinite planes.

About Resizing Infinite Elements
  1. In the App Options panel, click .
  2. Select an infinite plane, e.g. xy plane.
    On the plane are displayed handles.

  3. Resize the infinite plane by drawing one of the handles.
  4. Move the cursor onto a plane edge until its shape changes to .
    You can now move the plane.

  5. Click the Reset resizing button to restore the orginal shape.
