The 3DEXPERIENCE suite of Living Heart Human Models includes the following two models:
Realistic electrical, structural, and fluid (blood) flow physics govern the dynamic response of the Heart Model. You can use the Heart Model to study the electrical behavior of the heart by itself or to examine its coupled electromechanical behavior. In the latter behavior, an electrical excitation drives the mechanical response. Although the Heart Model represents a healthy heart, you can also study abnormal (diseased) states by modifying any of its loads and boundary conditions. In addition, you can introduce other parts into the model (such as medical devices) to study their influence on cardiac function and explore treatment options. The 3DEXPERIENCE Heart Model lets you import a 3D XML file containing the model into the Mechanical Scenario Creation 3DEXPERIENCE app. You can use a simulation experience that is available with the Heart Model to configure how the Heart Model simulation runs, including the simulation object created by Mechanical Scenario Creation. You can run the external solve command from Mechanical Scenario Creation to instantiate the experience and to run the resulting simulation process. Alternatively, you can import the 3DEXPERIENCE Heart Model from a Dassault Systèmes cloud-based server into Mechanical Scenario Creation and run the model using cloud-based computing resources. |
