Create a Catalog of Hangers
You can create a catalog and add chapters to it. You can then add hanger parts and templates to the catalog.
Before you begin:
- Define hangers and components.
- Create engineering templates.

In the top bar, select Add
> Content.

In the New Content dialog box, select Catalog.
The Catalog dialog box is created.

Enter the required name and click OK.
The catalog is created.

To insert a chapter to the catalog:

Right-click the catalog and select Insert > New Chapter
.
- In the Catalog Chapter dialog box, enter the required chapter name, say Contextual Hanger and click OK.
The chapter is created under the catalog. -
Right-click the catalog and select Insert > New Chapter
- Repeat the previous step until your catalog and its structure of chapters and sub chapters is finished.

To add hanger parts and templates to the catalog, do the following:

Right-click the chapter to which you want to add the template and select Insert > Insert Existing Object
.

In the Search box of the top bar, enter the required search string and click
Search
.
The list of the available templates appears. - Select the engineering template you want to add in the catalog and click OK.

Click Share
> Save > Save All to save the catalog.
You can also add defined hangers to the catalog using the above steps. -
Right-click the chapter to which you want to add the template and select Insert > Insert Existing Object

To use the catalog during the design process, you must:
- Add keywords to the catalog.
- Add components to the catalog (refer step 6 above).
- Add catalog to the resource table and bind this table to your project.
