Importing a BVH File

You can re-import BVH files originally exported from Human Animation Studio, and modified in third-party animation authoring software.

Important:
  • Export and subsequent import of a given BVH file must be performed on the exact same human skeleton. As an example, consider a human model that we will call Jane: if you export an animation of Jane, it is for Jane, and Jane only, that you must re-import the BVH file.
  • Animations are imported without keyframes. Therefore, timeline management is not possible for shared animations.
Important: In Human Animation Studio, BVH files are exported and imported with the ZXY convention as orientation channel.
