What's New

This page describes recent changes in HVAC 3D Part Design.

R2022x GA

Improvements to the FLX Algorithm on Flexible Routes

Here are the improvements that have been made:
  • From R2022x GA onward, the flexible routes you create now use the TurboFLX build algorithm.
  • You can upgrade the build algorithm of flexible routes created before R2022x GA.
  • When working with the FLX algorithm, the solver now takes into account core materials on flexible routes.
Benefits: The TurboFLX algorithm is more stable and finds solutions more efficiently.
For more information, see Upgrading the Build Algorithm of a Flexible Route from FLX to TurboFLX

Performance Improvements

A new algorithm improves the performance of the Network Assistant and the Selection Options commands.
Benefits: This algorithm allows you to save a lot of time during the use of the Network Assistant and the Selection Options commands.

Polyhedral Geometry

You can now apply commands on polyhedral objects, or use polyhedral geometry as inputs.
Benefits: The app is more efficient and robust.
For more information, see Reference Information: Polyhedral Geometry in HVAC 3D Part Design

Shortcuts Customization

You can now customize shortcuts.
Benefits: You have more flexibility in the customization and configuration of your keyboard shortcuts.
For more information, see Keyboard Shortcuts

Skin Offset Capability in Length Manipulator

You can now:
  • Switch between four solutions when the Skin Offset mode is selected
  • Apply a negative or positive offset by modifying the value in the context menu
  • Switch between three possible plane selections
Benefits: You can immediately adjust the skin offset of your routes during the routing process.
