Using the Weight Distribution Command

You can check how weight is distributed within the HVAC structure, and thus review the parts according to their weight by launching the Weight Distribution command.


Before you begin: Open the HVAC system.

  1. To access the B.I. Essentials list, from the Tools section of the action bar, select B.I. Essentials .
    The B.I. Essentials panel appears.
  2. Select Weight Distribution from the list.

The HVAC system is displayed using a color code which helps identify the weight definition status of its various parts. For your reference, the color code itself is detailed under the Weight Distribution item:

  • Heaviest: 5% of the parts: the heaviest component, making up 5% of the total number of components in the system, are displayed using the darkest red color.
  • Fairly heavy: 15% of the parts: fairly heavy component, making up 15% of the total number of components in the system, are displayed using a fairly dark red color.
  • Average: 20% of the parts: components with an average weight, making up 20% of the total number of components in the system, are displayed using an average red color.
  • Fairly light: 30% of the parts: fairly light components, making up 30% of the total number of components in the system, are displayed using a fairly light red color.
  • Lightest: 30% of the parts: the lightest components, making up 30% of the total number of components in the system, are displayed using the lightest red color.
