• Both curves must intersect or link each other exactly one time.
• The initial solution is using the longer curve parts with respect to the common intersection point.

• In general, four solutions are possible.
• The 2nd curve must intersect or link the 1st and 3rd curve exactly one time.
• 1st and 3rd are not allowed to intersect or link.
• The initial solution is using the longer curve parts of 1st and 3rd curve with respect to the contact point with the 2nd curve.

4 Edges

• Only one solution is possible.
• The edge curves must form a loop in the order of their selection.

This section deals with criteria for the input.

The selected edge curves must define at least 4 sides of a surface. Triangular surfaces are not supported

Closed and self intersecting curves are not allowed.

Multiple curves as edge curve

When multiple curves are selected as edge curve, the following criteria must be met:

• All curves must have an intersection point with the selected adjacent curve.
• The curves must belong to a single domain.
• The curves must be G1 continuous.
