Modeling Shapes

You can modify curves and surfaces via a reference geometry.

Before you begin:
  • You must have access to the ICEM Shape Morphing app.
  • Open a 3D shape containing a set of surfaces, for example representing a logo, and a surface as reference.

About Shape Modeling
  1. From the Surface section of the action bar, click Shape Modeling .
  2. Select the set of surfaces to be modeled.
  3. Select the reference surface.
    The control points are shown.

  4. Switch to the Modification tab and modify the reference surface.
    The result of the shape modeling is a datum element.
