To access the Action Pad panel, do one of the following:

  • Press Alt + b (temporary display only).
  • Right-click in the work area and select Display > Action Pad.
  • From the Tools section in the action bar, click Action Pad .

Geometrical Set
Inserts a geometrical set in the tree.
See Managing Geometrical Sets
OmniPoint
Creates explicit points.
See Creating Points.
OmniCurve
Creates a curve using control points or curve points.
See Creating Curves.
CurveConcatenate
Creates a curve from multiple touching or intersecting curves.
See Creating Concatenate Curves.
OmniCurveBlend
Creates a blend curve between two endpoints.
See Creating Blend Curves.
Fictive Edge
Creates a fictive edge from an existing curve or from picks.
See Creating a Fictive Edge.
OmniMatch
Matches between several entities and boundaries.
See Matching Surfaces.
Symmetry
Modifies geometry by symmetrizing it to a reference object (plane) with a symmetry condition up to G3.
See Creating Symmetry.
OmniPlane
Creates an arbitrary number of work planes to provide local coordinate systems.
See About Creating OmniPlanes.
OmniCut
Splits, limits, or reduces surfaces or curves based on the intersection of the input elements.
See Cutting Objects.
OmniPatch
Creates a patch using control points in a plane or on a surface.
See Creating Patches.
OmniSurf
Creates surfaces from curves.
See Creating Surfaces from Curves.
OmniFillet
Creates a fillet curve or surface between two support elements or sets of elements.
See Creating Fillet and Blend Geometry.
Visualization Sectioning
Lets you add up to three independent section planes, modify their position and orientation independently from each other.
See 3DEXPERIENCE Native Apps: Native Apps Advanced: Additional Viewing Commands: Using Section Planes
Ruler
Displays and manipulates 2D or 3D area coordinate axes.
See About Rulers.
Text Parallel to Screen
Creates a text parallel to screen without leader line.
See Creating a Text Parallel to Screen
Organize
Organizes geometrical elements in Frames, Display Lists, and Select Sets.
See Organizing Elements.
Views
Views the object from different angles and manages cameras for your scene.
Select the view and then create the camera.
