Manipulating a Curve

You can deform a curve by pushing and pulling it.


Before you begin: Create a 3D shape containing a curve.
  1. From the Shape Sculpt section of the action bar, click Modification .
  2. Optional: Click the curve.
  3. From the Tools Palette, click Manipulation .
  4. Optional: Move the pointer to place the running point at the desired position.
  5. Drag and move the pointer to deform the curve.



  6. Release the pointer when you are satisfied with the deformation.



    Tip: You can define a working area when deforming a curve. See working area.
    Important: If the Planarity option is activated, the manipulation is allowed in the plane where the curve has been created only. If it is not activated, the manipulation is allowed in all directions.
