Displaying Weight Definition

You can display the weight definition for each component of the assembly using B.I. Essentials.

This command is the B.I. Essentials shortcut.

Before you begin: Open an assembly.

  1. From the Mechanical Systems Design section of the action bar, click Weight Definition .
    The B.I. Essentials Weight Definition appears and the components are colored according to the B.I. Essentials colors.
    Note: For the product to take into account the weight of a product's 3D shape during the computation, make sure that there are:
    • no subproducts
    • no 3D parts
