Scenario Concepts

A kinematics scenario describes a scenario where only the kinematic relations are accounted for.

You can specify a kinematics scenario with the following existing features:

• A mechanism.
• Excitations:
  • Law excitation,
  • Segmented excitation,
  • Recorded excitation,
  • Plotting excitation
  • Assembly Sequence excitation.
• Probes:
  • Position, speed and acceleration probe,
  • Measure probe,
  • Interference probe,
  • Section probe,
  • Camera probe.
• Visibility action

A dynamics scenario describes a scenario where kinematic relations and forces are accounted for.

You can specify a dynamics scenario with the following existing features:

• A mechanism.
• Excitations:
  • Law excitation,
  • Segmented excitation,
  • Recorded excitation,
  • Assembly Sequence excitation,
  • Gravity excitation.

  Important: Excitation values at the beginning of the simulation are the values at the nominal state of the command.

• Probes:
  • Position, speed and acceleration probe,
  • Measure probe,
  • Interference probe,
  • Section probe,
  • Camera probe.
