Associating a Model with a Simulation

You can associate a model with an empty simulation.

  1. Create or open an empty simulation.
    For more information, see Creating a New Simulation and Opening an Existing Simulation.
  2. Enter the generic Simulation app, by double-clicking the empty simulation object in the specification tree.
  3. Select the simulation object in the specification tree, and select from the app toolbar.
    The Object Selection dialog box appears.
  4. Select the model you want to simulate.

    Important: You can associate only one model with a simulation. After you have associated a model with a simulation, you cannot replace the model with a different model.

  5. Click OK.

    The model appears under the Model category in the specification tree.
