Generating a Knowledge Report Using a Batch

You can generate knowledge reports based on objects attributes using the Knowledge Report batch.


Before you begin: You must have created a report template in Quality Rules Reuse.

Generating a Knowledge Report
  1. From the Tools section of the action bar, click Utility.
  2. In the Batch Monitor, double-click Knowledge Report.
  3. In the Knowledge Report window, click Object Search .
  4. In the Object Search dialog box, enter your filter parameters and click OK.
  5. In the Knowledge Report window, select the inputs to which the report is going to be applied.
  6. Click Select in the Selected Operation frame to select the report template.
  7. In the XML Document Chooser, enter your search string (report template name or wildcard) and click Search.
  8. Select a report template from the list and click OK.
  9. Optional: Enter a report title.
  10. Select the output file type.
  11. Optional: If you want to generate only one report for all inputs, check One Report.
  12. Optional: Enter a report file name.
  13. Optional: Modify the directory where the report is going to be stored.
    Note: In the Report frame, you can change:
    • the target directory
    • the name of the html page showing the status and the links of the generated report.
  14. Click Save to save the report configuration and Run to launch the report generation.
