Launch the Batch in Batch Mode

You can launch the Design Table migration batch in batch mode. In this example, we are going to use a Search Query stored in database.

  1. From the Tools section, click Utility .
  2. In the Batch Monitor, right-click DTMigrationBatch and select New parameter file.
  3. In the DTMigrationBatch window, click Object Search .
  4. In the Object Search window, enter your search string in the Name box of the Easy tab and click OK.
  5. Select the Output Report directory, the report name and click Save to save the design Table migration specifications.
  6. Enter CATBatchStarter -input e:\tmp\DTMigrSpecs.xml in a Command prompt where e:\tmp\DTMigrSpecs.xml is the path where you saved the batch specifications.

Store a Search Query

You can store a search query that can be used to retrieve the objects on which the batch is launched.

  1. In the Search box of the top bar, enter the name of the representation, and click Search .
  2. From the Search Result window, select Tools > Store Search.
  3. Enter a name for the search to be saved and click OK.
