Deactivating Mullions

You can deactivate the mullions, transoms, and borders of selected curtains.


Before you begin: Create a curtain wall on a building mass.

  1. In the 3D area or the tree, select a curtain wall.

    Tip: Ctrl + click to select multiple curtain walls.

  2. To deactivate the mullions, transoms, and borders of curtain walls, from the context toolbar, click Deactivate Mullions .
    For example, you can deactivate mullions while working on a large building model to improve the performance of the system.
  3. To activate millions, transoms, and borders of curtain walls, from the context toolbar, click Activate Mullions .

    Note: This command is available only for curtain walls for which you have deactivated mullions.

    For example, you can activate mullions after making changes to a large building model to view the curtain walls.

The system deactivates mullions, transoms, and the border of selected curtains leaving only the panel visible. The system accepts changes to features in a functional body without forcing the curtains in the building model to update. Deactivating the mullions improves system performance.
