Removing an Open Gable

You can remove a single gable or all gables in a building.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin: Ensure that the building project includes a building with a pitched roof and one or more open gables.

Remove a Single Gable

You can remove a single gable from a building.

  1. From the 3D area, click the gable that you want to remove.
  2. From the context toolbar, click Remove Open Gable .

The building redisplays with the pitched roof face replacing the gable.

Remove All Gables

You can remove simultaneously all gables in a building.

  1. In the tree, expand the Core and Shell node to display Pitched Roof.

    In the tree, the system numbers each pitched roof in the project, for example, Pitched Roof1 for the first building with a pitched roof.

  2. From the context toolbar, click Remove Open Gable .

The building redisplays with a pitched roof face replacing each gable.
