Context Toolbars

Context toolbars are smart toolbars that contain only those commands that can be applied to the current selection.

Commands are organized in categories. To change a command, just pause over it and select a new command or option from the vertical toolbar that appears.

General

Robot
Offers access to a number of commands that require the use of the Robot.

Turntable View

Group
Groups together 3D parts and products you want to consider as and behave like a block in a single product.
Grouped 3D parts and products appear on a separate turntable.
Ungroup
Breaks down a group into constituent 3D parts and products.
Insert New Content
Adds content.
Select a turntable to insert content directly onto a turntable or select an existing object to insert content into an object. Once open, the New Content panel is docked and remains available in both turntable and design views.
Note: If you selected Set attributes at creation for all types in the New Content panel (Add > Content), a dialog box opens letting you specify product attributes.
Insert Existing Product
Inserts an existing product as a component of the current product.
Select a product in session or search for an existing product. Multiple selection is available.
Insert Existing 3D Part
Inserts an existing 3D part as a component of the current product.
Select a 3D part in session or search for an existing 3D part. Multiple selection is available.
Insert Existing 3D Shape
Inserts an existing 3D shape as a component of the current product.
Select a 3D shape in session or search for an existing 3D shape. Multiple selection is available.
Insert Existing Drawing
Inserts an existing drawing as a component of the current product.
Insert Existing Representation
Inserts an existing representation as a component of the current product.
Edit Representation
Opens the last app used to edit the selected 3D shape.. If the product or 3D part contains more than one 3D shape, the first 3D shape representation in the tree is selected. This command is equivalent to double-clicking a 3D shape representation in the tree.
