Baseline Approvals

To view the baseline approvals list for a part, open the part and select the Device Master Record category. The Approvals list is shown in the Baselines tab.

Columns


Column	Description
Name	Name of the baseline approval. This column contains highlighted links. Click to go to the Properties.
Title	The title given to the Approval when it was created.
Type	The type of object to which the Approval applies.
Rev	The part revision to which the Approval applies.
State	The state of the object in its lifecycle.
Configuration	The configuration, which is selected for the baseline. Whether it is Both, EBOM, or MBOM.
Plant	The plant of the baseline.
Approved Date	The date the baseline was approved (or blank if not approved).
Approver(s)	The name of the approver who has approved the baseline.
Originated	The date on which the baseline was created.
Modified	The date on which the baseline was last modified.
Owner	The owner of the baseline
Description	Details about the change order that were entered when the change order was created.

Create an approval. This command appears only if you are assigned the Quality Manager role.

Only a Quality Manager can initiate the revision process of an existing DMR Baseline.

Refinements

The options are:

Active: lists all baselines except the superseded baselines
All: lists all the baselines available

The below filters are applicable only for baselines that have the configuration as Both.


Filter Name	Description
Effective View	Choose EBOM, Current or Current & Pending to view the DMR based on EBOM relationships or MBOM relationships (Current) or MBOM Pending & MBOM (Current & Pending) relationships. The MBOM and MBOM & MBOM Pending options are visible only if Manufacturing BOM(MBO) is installed with Device Master Record Management.
Plant	Select a plant from the list to create an MBOM plant-specific view of the DMR.
Supplier	Select a supplier from the list.

Comparing Baseline Approvals

Refresh DMR Baseline

Lets you refresh the selected DMR baseline.

Notes:

The refresh of a DMR baseline is based on the background job and when you refresh it from the List page, the notification is displayed about the refresh process.
The icon for Status is displayed before the name of the DMR baseline in the Approvals tab.
You can refresh the DMR baseline if it is in the In Work or In Approval states.
