Managing Session Content from the B.I. Essentials

This task shows you how to manage the lock status, maturity status, and change the owner from the B.I. Essentials.

  1. To manage lock status, in the B.I. Essentials, select Lock Status, select an object, and then click Lock or Unlock of either the reference lock status or the instance lock status.
    A locked object is changed to unlocked, and an unlocked object is changed to locked. The lock status is also indicated in the tree, with the following symbols:
    Icon Meaning
    None The object is not locked.


    		The instance and the reference are locked by you.


    		The instance is locked by you and the reference is locked by someone else.


    		The instance is locked by someone else and the reference is locked by you.


    		The instance and reference are locked by someone else.

  2. To change the owner of an object, in the B.I. Essentials, select Lock Status, select an object, and then click Change Owner .

Tip: For each of the above commands, you can also select an object and click the corresponding icon in the Lifecycle section of the action bar.
