Primary View Plane and View Box Resizing
To change the primary view plane and resize automatically the view bounding box, you need to:
Change primary view plane and Resize view box according to 3D model options are selected by default, see Principal Views settings.
The following scenarios are possible depending on the selection of these options:
- When only the option Change primary view plane is selected, then, you can select the following elements, but cannot resize the view bounding box:
- Planes
- Sketches
- Axis systems
- 3D Tolerancing & Annotation Views
- When only the option Resize view box according to 3D model is selected, then, you can select all model elements, but you cannot modify the primary view plane.
- When both the options are selected, then, you can change the primary view plane by selecting any of the elements as explained in scenario 1, and also resize the view bounding box.
- When both of these options are deselected, then, selection of a reference element is not available. So if you click in the 3D window, the command is ended.
