Removing Investigation Requirement

An investigation is a formal method for verifying the details stated in the complaint, ESR, inquiry, or NC. A Complaint Investigator investigates the details and records the inferences.

Initially, the investigator views the details of the object and decides if investigation is required. For complaints and ESRs, a return is created, which allows the customer to return the product for investigation. For ESRs, the investigator sends the reported item for decontamination and calibration. The investigator then investigates the claims and updates the results. After results are recorded, the Complaint Investigator or a Quality Manager can complete the investigation.
