About 3D Chessboard Texture

The color parameters help you define tile and join colors.

The tile color represents the colored bricks and corresponds to a color sequence. You can create a pattern with squares in up to four alternating colors.

The join color represents the color of the grid pattern.

The deformation parameters help you define the tile and join dimensions and the offset option.

The following parameters are available:

Parameter	Description
Tile Width and Height	Sets the width and height of the tile.
Join Width and Height	Sets the width and height of the join. This parameter allows you to simulate a brick wall, for example.
Offset	Translates the join lines horizontally. If you define the offset to 0, the join lines are in perfect adjustment.

Bump textures consist of a lighting surface effect added to the object. It locally modifies the geometric aspect of the basic object by perturbating artificially the usual lighting effect.

You can use the slider or enter a coefficient value comprised between -10 and 10:

Value	Effect
0	No bump effect.
10	Bright colors appear above dark colors.
-10	Dark colors appear above bright colors.

The transformation parameters help you adjust the mapped texture.

The following parameters are available:

Parameter	Description
Scaling	Stretches the texture along the X, Y, and Z axes.
Rotation	Rotates the texture around the X, Y, and Z axes.
Translation	Translates the texture along the X, Y, and Z axes.

Important: To keep the symmetry when specifying the perturbation coefficient, translate or move the center of the Robot.
