Importing a Material Library

You can import the material libraries provided in your database.

They contain examples of different material types that you can use as a base to create your own materials.

Before you begin:
  • You need the Visual Experience Content Collection (VCC) role to access and author the content that comes with the role.
  • To select the installation path for your app content, access the Content preferences. By default, the content is installed in InstallContentPath/win_b64/startup/materials. For more information, see 3DEXPERIENCE Native Apps Content.
