Smelters List

You can list smelters, the companies that process conflict minerals originating from mine sources.

The page only lists smelters. Your Business Administrator can import a smelter file to add, remove, or modify smelters.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Owner,Author, Leader, Reader
  • App-specific: Compliance Administrator, Compliance Engineer, Senior Compliance Engineer, Compliance Reviewer

To access this page,

  1. Load the app categories. For more information, see User Interface.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Smelters.

Column NameDescription
Smelter Name The name of the smelter.
Smelter IDThe identifier of the smelter.
StateThe state of the smelter: Active or Inactive.
Facility CountryThe country where the smelter facility is located.
Conflict MineralThe value can be Tin, Tungsten, Tantalum, or Gold.
Conflict Free CertifiedAn indicator of the status of each mineral's conflict free certification. Possible values are:
  • Yes
  • No
  • In Process
  • Expired
Expiration DateThe expiration date of the certification.
Certification SourceThe source of the certification.
